The secret behind Zepto’s success lay in its innovative "dark store" model. Instead of relying on large warehouses far from city centers, Zepto set up small fulfillment centers, strategically located in dense urban areas. These dark stores were stocked with a curated selection of products, optimized for fast packing and quick delivery. With real-time inventory management and a fleet of delivery partners ready to move at a moment’s notice, Zepto was able to fulfill its promise of delivering groceries in record time.


But the journey wasn’t without its challenges. As young entrepreneurs, Aadit and Kaivalya faced skepticism from industry veterans who doubted whether two teenagers could pull off such an ambitious project. Yet, they persevered, driven by their belief in their idea and the potential it had to transform the market.
